You can sell trackday tickets directly on Lapvio, on the free plan. Drivers pay by card on your event page, the money goes to your own Stripe account, and Lapvio takes a small fee per sold ticket. No monthly cost; if you don't sell, you don't pay.
1. Set up payments
Open Payments in your admin menu. Payouts run through Stripe, so you connect a Stripe account first:
- Set up payments starts Stripe's guided onboarding. It asks for your business details and bank account; most organisers finish in a few minutes.
- Already selling elsewhere with Stripe? Choose to link your existing Stripe account instead. You sign in at Stripe and approve the connection; nothing about your current setup changes.

2. One VAT question
After Stripe is connected, the Payments page asks one required question: is your organisation registered for VAT?
- Not a VAT payer. The prices you enter are final; drivers pay exactly what you type.
- VAT payer. Enter your rate and VAT ID. From then on you enter net prices, and drivers always see and pay the price incl. VAT. Every price field shows the "drivers pay" amount next to it, so there are no surprises.
You answer this once; you can adjust the details any time on the Payments page.
3. Turn on selling for an event
Create the event first (see Create an event), then open it from Events. At the top of the event page sits the Sell tickets on Lapvio card:
- Flip the Sell tickets on Lapvio switch.
- Add at least one ticket with Add ticket: a name (per language), a price and a currency.

That's it. The public event page swaps your booking link for Lapvio checkout, and drivers can pay right there. Switch it off any time to go back to your own booking link.
4. Orders and refunds
Every sale lands in Orders in your admin menu: who bought, for which event, how much, and the payment status. Search by name, email or order reference, and filter by status.
Need to give money back? Use the refund action on the order. You can refund the full amount or a part of it; the driver gets their money and a confirmation email, and Lapvio's fee is adjusted automatically.

5. Your roster and event day
Open an event that sells tickets and tap Roster to see everyone who's registered: name, session, contact and car. Every buyer also gets a QR ticket by email, and you can check drivers in at the gate with the check-in scanner.
Where's the money?
Payments settle into your connected Stripe account and pay out to your bank shortly after the event. You can open your Stripe dashboard any time from the Payments page.
