Common questions

What is Lapvio?

Lapvio is a platform for the trackday community. It serves three roles: drivers who want to track their trackday history across every organizer they attend, organizers who run events and need tooling for registration through to check-in, and coaches who sell driving instruction and instructional content. Each role gets the experience that fits, but it's one platform underneath.

Who is Lapvio for?

If you've attended a trackday and wished you had a record of every event you've done, every circuit you've driven, every car you've run, Lapvio is for you. If you organize trackdays and you're tired of registrations through spreadsheets and chasing waiver signatures on the morning of the event, Lapvio Pro is for you. If you're a driving instructor or coach and you want to reach drivers across multiple organizers, Lapvio is for you.

Do I need a Lapvio account to attend an event?

No. If an organizer runs their events on Lapvio, they send you a personal link to register, complete the safety briefing, and sign the waiver. No account needed. If you do create a Lapvio account, your verified history of those events appears on your profile automatically. You can attend events forever without an account, or create one to start tracking your full trackday record.

Is Lapvio free?

Lapvio is free for drivers. No premium tier, no paid features today. Organizers pay a subscription to use Lapvio Pro to manage their events; pricing is on the pricing page. Coaches don't pay to join, but Lapvio takes a platform fee on transactions when drivers book sessions or buy instructional content. See the Organizers FAQ and Coaches FAQ for specifics.

What's the difference between Lapvio and Lapvio Pro?

Lapvio is the driver-facing side: profiles, trackday history, the circuit map, social features, event discovery, and coach booking. It's free. Lapvio Pro is the organizer-facing tool: a SaaS subscription that lets a trackday organizer run their events end to end. They're two halves of the same platform. Drivers and organizers see different things, but it's one product underneath.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. The Lapvio driver app carries your full track record: history, garage, the circuits map, lap times with racing lines, and the feed. It's free, on Google Play now, with iOS coming soon. Same account as the web; sign in with the same email code. Organizers and coaches manage their side on the web.

What countries does Lapvio operate in?

Lapvio is available globally. The product is fully usable in three languages (Czech, English, and German), and we're adding more as the community grows. Most of our active organizers and drivers are currently in Central Europe, but anyone, anywhere, can sign up as a driver. Coverage on the organizer side depends on which organizers are running events on Lapvio Pro at any given time. Drivers can manually log trackdays from any organizer in the world, including ones not on Lapvio.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Data is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt), encrypted at rest and in transit, and we're GDPR-compliant by design. We never sell your data. For specifics, see our Privacy Policy and, for organizers, our Data Processing Agreement.
