Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies the Lapvio service uses, why, and how you control them. It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes everything else we do with personal data.
Lapvio is operated by Amahi s.r.o., a Czech limited liability company with registered office at Kurzova 2222/16, Stodůlky, 155 00 Praha 5, Czech Republic, ID No. (IČO) 29494621, VAT No. (DIČ) CZ29494621, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, file C 447404. In this policy, "Amahi," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Amahi s.r.o.; "Lapvio" refers to the service. The service is available at lapvio.com and at organizer subdomains in the form [organizer].lapvio.com.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We also use a handful of similar technologies (local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels) and we treat all of them as "cookies" for the purposes of this policy. Whenever the law requires consent for cookies, that requirement applies equally to those other technologies.
The categories we use
We group cookies into three categories. Only the first runs by default; the other two require your consent, which you give through the cookie banner the first time you visit and can change at any time.
Strictly necessary
These run by default. They are essential for the site to work, and the law does not require consent for them.

Cookieless performance measurement. We also use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how fast pages load and how much traffic they receive. These tools do not set cookies and do not store any identifier on your device; they produce only anonymized, aggregated measurements that cannot be linked back to you. Because nothing is stored on your device, they run without consent.
Analytics
These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. They run only after you accept analytics cookies in the banner.

Google Analytics 4 is loaded through Google Tag Manager, Google's tag container. The container is only the loading mechanism: it does not collect analytics data itself, and it loads Google Analytics 4 only after you accept analytics cookies in the banner.
Marketing
These help us measure how our marketing reaches new drivers and which channels work. They run only after you accept marketing cookies in the banner.

We do not use any other advertising or tracking services, and we do not sell or rent your data to third parties for advertising.
How you control cookies
The cookie banner. When you first visit lapvio.com you'll see a banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject everything except the strictly necessary ones, or pick categories individually. Rejecting non-essential cookies has no impact on your ability to use Lapvio.
Changing your mind. You can change your choices at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
Browser controls. All major browsers let you block, delete, or get notified about cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
Do Not Track. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals; if your browser sends one, we treat it as a rejection of analytics and marketing cookies, and you won't see the banner.
Cookies on organizer subdomains
When you use an organizer's event portal at [organizer].lapvio.com, the cookies set there are the same as on lapvio.com. The organizer is the controller of the event registration data you provide, but the cookies themselves are set by Lapvio and are covered by this policy. Each organizer's privacy notice may add detail about how they use the registration data we collect on their behalf.
The Lapvio mobile app
The Lapvio mobile app does not use cookies. The analytics used in the app, and the controls you have over them, are described in our Privacy Policy.
International transfers
Google Analytics and Meta Pixel data is processed in the United States. Both providers operate under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing adequate protection. We use Standard Contractual Clauses as a backup safeguard.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we add or remove a service, change a cookie's purpose, or when the law requires it. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when the most recent change happened. Material changes (for example, adding a new tracking service) will be flagged in the cookie banner so you can renew or revise your consent.
