v1.621 July 2026

Driver Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Lapvio service as a driver: the marketing site at lapvio.com, the Lapvio mobile app, your Lapvio account and public profile, the social and history features, the event discovery pages, and any paid services you purchase through Lapvio (trackday bookings, coaching sessions, coaching content).

If you are a trackday organizer using Lapvio Pro to run your events, your contract is the Organizer Terms of Service, not this one.

By creating a Lapvio account, attending an event whose registration is run on Lapvio infrastructure, or purchasing anything through the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't create an account and don't make a purchase. If you have an account already and don't agree to a change, you can delete the account at any time.

1. Who you are contracting with

You are entering into this contract with Amahi s.r.o., a Czech limited liability company with registered office at Kurzova 2222/16, Stodůlky, 155 00 Praha 5, Czech Republic, ID No. (IČO) 29494621, VAT No. (DIČ) CZ29494621, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, file C 447404. Amahi s.r.o. is the operator of the Lapvio service. In these Terms, "Amahi," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Amahi s.r.o.; "Lapvio" refers to the service.

For anything to do with these Terms or your account, contact info@lapvio.com. For privacy and data protection: privacy@lapvio.com.

2. Eligibility

You can use Lapvio if all of the following are true:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You can enter into a legally binding contract under the law of your country of residence
  • You provide accurate information about yourself when you sign up

If we discover that an account holder is under 18, we will close the account and delete or anonymise the data per our Privacy Policy.

3. Your account

You create a Lapvio account by giving us your email address and verifying it through a one-time code (OTP). There are no passwords. Your account gives you access to the Lapvio driver app, your public profile at lapvio.com/[username], and any paid services you've bought through the platform.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your email account secure; anyone with access to your email can sign in to your Lapvio account
  • The accuracy of the information on your profile
  • Everything that happens on your account, whether you did it or someone using your access did it

Tell us at privacy@lapvio.com immediately if you think someone has accessed your account without your permission.

You can have only one Lapvio account. If you discover a duplicate account because you've used different email addresses with different organizers, you can link the additional emails through Settings → Linked emails (covered in Section 5.2).

4. The free service

Most of Lapvio is free for drivers. The free service includes:

  • Your account, public profile, and username at lapvio.com/[username]
  • Manual trackday entry: log any event from any organizer, on or off Lapvio
  • Your verified event history from organizers running events on Lapvio Pro
  • The circuits map and your visit log
  • Garage: adding cars, uploading photos
  • The social feed: posts with photos and videos, comments and replies, reactions
  • Following other drivers, chat and direct messages
  • Achievements
  • Browsing public event listings
  • Privacy controls over what's visible on your profile

We may change which features are free and which require payment in the future. If we move a feature you currently use behind a paywall, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and you can decide whether to subscribe, do without it, or close your account. Anything you've already paid for will continue to work as agreed.

Push notifications. The Lapvio mobile app can send you push notifications. These include service notifications (booking confirmations, account and security messages, important changes to an event you're registered for) and social notifications (new followers, comments, replies, reactions, mentions, chat messages). You control them through your device's operating-system notification permission and through the notification preferences in the app, and you can turn off either kind at any time. Disabling push notifications does not affect the rest of the service.

Promoted content. The feed may include clearly marked promoted content from organizers or from Lapvio itself. Promotion only affects what appears in the feed. It never changes lap times, rankings, or anyone's verified history.

5. How your data and history work on the platform

5.1 Verified vs. manual entries

Two kinds of trackday history can appear on your profile.

Verified entries come from events whose registration was run on Lapvio Pro. They are added to your profile automatically when an organizer registers you. They carry a "verified" badge. The data behind them (your name, your participation, the date) was submitted by the organizer and is data they control.

Manual entries are events you log yourself. They can be from any organizer, anywhere, including events that have nothing to do with Lapvio. They do not carry the verified badge. You are responsible for their accuracy.

We never falsify either kind of entry. If you believe a verified entry on your profile is incorrect, contact the organizer who created it. If they don't fix it, contact us at privacy@lapvio.com and we'll help mediate.

5.2 Linked emails

If you've used different email addresses with different organizers, you can link them through Settings → Linked emails. We send a verification code to each address you add. Once verified, history associated with that email merges into your primary account.

You can only link emails you control. Linking an email you do not control is a breach of these Terms and will result in account suspension.

5.3 Privacy of your profile

Your profile and its sections (history, garage, map, achievements, follows) have privacy controls (Public, Followers only, or Private) that you set. The defaults are explained in our Privacy Policy and you can change them at any time.

Anything you set to "Public" is publicly visible; search engines may index it, other people may screenshot it, and you should assume that once something has been public it may persist somewhere outside our control.

Individual posts have their own visibility setting. A post whose visibility setting makes it public has a permalink page at lapvio.com/p/[postId] that anyone with the link can view, with or without a Lapvio account, and search engines may index it. We also generate share cards and preview images from public posts (the image and summary shown when a link to your post is shared elsewhere, for example in a chat app).

6. Paid services through Lapvio

Three kinds of purchase can happen through the platform:

  • Trackday bookings: buying a place at an organizer's event
  • Coaching sessions: booking time with an instructor
  • Coaching content: buying access to instructional content (videos, written guides, courses, or other formats) created by an instructor

The legal structure is the same for all three: the organizer, coach, or instructor is the seller. Lapvio operates the platform and processes the payment via Stripe Connect, but the contract for the underlying service or content is between you and the seller. Lapvio is not a party to that contract and has no responsibility for the underlying service or content.

6.1 The marketplace structure: read this carefully

When you make a purchase through Lapvio:

  • You are buying from the organizer, coach, or instructor, not from Lapvio
  • Lapvio facilitates the payment through Stripe Connect: Stripe processes the card payment, the funds are routed to the seller's connected Stripe account, and Stripe charges Lapvio a platform fee that we deduct from the seller's payout
  • Lapvio never holds your money in escrow. The payment moves directly to the seller's Stripe account at the moment of purchase
  • Lapvio is not the seller of record. The receipt issued for your purchase identifies the seller (the organizer or instructor), not Lapvio
  • The seller is responsible for the trackday, coaching session, or coaching content. Their refund policy, cancellation policy, and consumer-rights procedures apply to your purchase
  • Lapvio is responsible for the platform working: the booking page loading, the receipt being delivered, the access to purchased content being granted, and so on

This structure is mandated by EU consumer law transparency requirements (Directive 2011/83/EU and Czech Act 634/1992). It is the only way Lapvio operates paid services. Lapvio does not sell trackdays, coaching, or coaching content directly.

6.2 Trackday bookings

When you book a trackday through Lapvio:

  • The contract is between you and the organizer
  • Pricing, availability, and conditions are set by the organizer and shown on their event page
  • The organizer's refund and cancellation policy applies; it's published on their organizer profile and on each event page. Read it before you buy
  • If the organizer cancels or reschedules the event, the organizer is responsible for refunding or rescheduling. Lapvio can facilitate the refund through Stripe at the organizer's instruction, but the organizer makes the decision
  • If you have a dispute with the organizer about a booking, raise it with them first. If they don't respond, contact us at info@lapvio.com; we can mediate but we cannot force a refund

Whether a specific organizer accepts payments through Lapvio (Stripe Connect) or only uses Lapvio for registration management is up to the organizer. Where the organizer doesn't use Stripe Connect, you'll be redirected to their own checkout system or asked to pay them directly. In that case Lapvio is not involved in the payment flow at all, and these payment provisions do not apply.

6.3 Coaching sessions

There are two ways you can book coaching through Lapvio, and who you are buying from depends on which one it is.

From a coach's own profile. A coach can publish their own sessions (dates, times, places, and prices they set themselves) on their profile. When you book one of these, the coach is the seller. You are buying from the coach directly. The coach has connected their own Stripe account and operates under their own contract with us, the Coach Terms of Service.

As an add-on on an organizer's event. An organizer can offer coaching as part of one of their events. Here the seller is either the organizer or the coach, depending on how that organizer has set it up:

  • The organizer may sell the coaching themselves, through their own Stripe Connect, or as a booking you pay for in cash on the day. In that case the organizer is the seller and the organizer's terms and refund policy apply
  • The coach may sell it through their own connected Stripe account, in which case you are buying from the coach directly, exactly as you would from their profile

Your receipt tells you who the seller is. Whoever the seller of record is (organizer or coach) is responsible for the price, the cancellation and refund policy, and any refund. Read that policy before you book.

In every case, regardless of who sold the session:

  • The coach is the one delivering the session and is responsible for the coaching itself: their qualifications, their conduct, what they teach you, and your safety during the session
  • The coach must hold their own appropriate insurance. Lapvio does not provide coaching, vouch for any coach's qualifications, or guarantee any outcome
  • Where Lapvio processed the payment (via Stripe Connect), Lapvio can trigger a refund through Stripe at the seller's instruction, but does not make refund decisions. Where you paid in cash on the day, Lapvio was not in the payment flow at all and these payment provisions do not apply
  • Coaching that takes place at a circuit or trackday event is subject to that circuit's rules and the organizer's safety procedures

If you have a dispute about a coaching booking, raise it with the seller first, the coach or the organizer, whoever sold it to you. If they don't respond, contact us at info@lapvio.com. We can mediate and share the transaction records we hold, but we cannot force a refund.

6.4 Coaching content

Coaching content is digital instructional material (typically videos, written guides, structured courses, or other formats) created by an instructor and uploaded to Lapvio so that drivers can purchase access.

When you purchase coaching content:

  • The contract is between you and the instructor who created the content
  • The instructor owns the content and is responsible for its accuracy, quality, and lawfulness
  • Lapvio hosts the content on the platform on the instructor's behalf and provides you access for as long as you have purchased it
  • The price, what's included, and any guarantees are set by the instructor on their content listing

Right of withdrawal, important. Under Czech and EU consumer law you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital-content purchase. You waive this right when you start consuming the content, i.e. when you start watching, reading, or otherwise accessing it. Before you can complete the purchase you will be asked to explicitly confirm that:

I agree that I will receive immediate access to the content and I expressly waive my right to withdraw within 14 days as soon as I begin accessing the content.

If you do not confirm this, you cannot complete the purchase. If you confirm it but do not start accessing the content within 14 days of purchase, you retain the right to withdraw and request a refund; contact us at info@lapvio.com or use the seller's listed contact.

6.5 What Lapvio is responsible for in payment flows

To be precise about the boundary:

Lapvio is responsible for:

  • The platform working: the booking pages, the checkout, the access provisioning for coaching content, the receipt delivery
  • Handling Stripe Connect integration so payments route to the correct seller
  • Providing a working dispute and mediation contact at info@lapvio.com
  • Compliance with platform-level legal obligations under EU and Czech law

Lapvio is not responsible for:

  • The trackday itself: venue, safety, instruction, weather, any incident
  • The coaching session itself: instructor's competence, conduct, what they teach you
  • The coaching content itself: accuracy, quality, suitability for your skill level, claims made by the instructor
  • The seller's refund decisions
  • Delivery of services contracted on platforms outside Lapvio (e.g. an organizer that takes registration through us but payment elsewhere)

If you have any doubt about who is responsible for what in a specific situation, contact info@lapvio.com and we will tell you.

7. Trackdays, coaching, and platform-level disclaimer

Lapvio is software. It is not a trackday organizer, a driving school, an insurer, an instructor, or a safety inspector. When you attend a trackday, take a coaching session, or use coaching content:

  • You assume the inherent risks of motorsport
  • The organizer running the trackday is responsible for the venue's safety standards, the briefing content, the waiver, the insurance, and the conduct of the day
  • The instructor running a coaching session is responsible for what they teach you and how they teach it
  • Coaching content is informational material, not a substitute for professional driving instruction or safety training
  • The waiver you sign with an organizer is a contract between you and the organizer. Lapvio is not a party to it

If something goes wrong at a trackday (an incident, an injury, damage to your car or someone else's) your claims are against the organizer, the venue, your own insurer, or the other party involved. Lapvio has no liability for any of it.

This section reflects the reality of how trackdays work: organizers run them, drivers sign waivers, insurance covers (or doesn't cover) outcomes, and the platform that facilitated registration plays no role in the actual driving.

8. Your content on Lapvio

You will add content to Lapvio: a bio, manual trackday entries, photos of your cars, posts in the social feed (including photos and videos), comments and replies, reactions, chat messages, follows, coaching content if you become an instructor.

8.1 You keep ownership

You keep ownership of everything you upload or post.

8.2 The licence you give us

To run the platform, we need your permission to host, display, and distribute your content. By uploading or posting anything, you grant Amahi s.r.o. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (in technical ways like resizing, format conversion, and thumbnailing), publicly display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating, providing, and promoting the Lapvio service.

This licence covers all the content types listed above, including the photos and videos in your posts, your comments and replies, and your chat messages. We need it so that we can host and stream your media, display your content to other users according to the visibility settings you have chosen, generate share cards and preview images from your public content (Section 5.3), and review content when it is reported for moderation.

The licence ends when you delete the content, except that:

  • We may retain backup copies for a reasonable period (and they will be deleted in line with our backup rotation)
  • Other users may have made copies (screenshots, downloads) which are outside our control
  • Where content has been used in marketing materials we already published, we may continue to display those materials in their existing form but we will not use the content in new materials

8.3 Your responsibility for what you post

You are responsible for everything you upload. By posting anything, you confirm that:

  • It is yours to post: you took the photo, you wrote the bio, you have the rights to the content, or you have permission from whoever does
  • It does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights
  • It is not unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate
  • For car photos: the car shown is yours or one you have permission to photograph and post: no stock photography, no other people's cars passed off as your own, no photos taken without consent of identifiable people in them
  • For manual trackday entries: the entry is honest. Don't fabricate events you didn't attend, lap times you didn't set, or circuits you didn't drive

8.4 What we can do with your content

We can:

  • Display your content according to the privacy settings you have chosen
  • Resize, compress, transcode, thumbnail, or otherwise technically process it for the platform
  • Generate derivative content from public profile data, for example, your shareable map PNG, achievement card images, and the share and preview cards for your public posts
  • Remove content that violates these Terms or that we are required by law to remove
  • Use anonymous aggregated data derived from content (e.g. "drivers visited 14 circuits on average this season") for platform statistics and marketing, without identifying you

We will not:

  • Sell your content to third parties
  • Use your private content (entries you've marked private, etc.) in any public-facing way
  • Create AI training datasets from your content without your specific consent

9. Acceptable use

Do not use Lapvio to:

  • Impersonate someone else, including using their name, photos, or trackday history as your own
  • Falsify trackday entries: fabricate events, fake lap times, fake circuit visits
  • Harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other drivers, instructors, organizers, or anyone else on or through the platform
  • Post discriminatory, hateful, or extremist content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, our infrastructure, or organizer admin areas
  • Scrape the site at scale, automate access in ways that disrupt service, or attempt to reverse-engineer the platform
  • Use the platform to send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited commercial communication
  • Post content that infringes someone else's rights: copyright, trademark, image rights, trade secrets
  • Interfere with security features (rate limits, authentication flows, abuse protections)
  • Use the platform in any way that violates applicable law

9.1 Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Objectionable content means the things listed above: harassment, bullying, threats, hateful or discriminatory content, sexually explicit content, spam, content that infringes someone else's rights, and anything illegal. Posting objectionable content, or being abusive toward other users on or through the platform, leads to removal of the content and suspension or termination of your account. Where the severity warrants it, we act without prior warning; this is the immediate-suspension path described in Section 10.2.

You have concrete tools for dealing with content and behavior that breaks these rules:

  • Report. Every post, comment, and chat message can be reported directly in the app. Reports go to a moderation queue and we act on them promptly; for reports of objectionable content, our target is to remove the offending content and deal with the user who posted it within 24 hours
  • Block. You can block any user. A blocked user's content is hidden from you and they can no longer follow you, comment on your content, or message you
  • Email. You can always also email info@lapvio.com about anything on Lapvio that breaks these rules, whether or not you have reported it in the app

10. Suspension and termination

10.1 You can leave at any time

You can delete your account at any time: on the web through Settings → Privacy → Delete account, in the app through You → Settings → Delete account, or by emailing privacy@lapvio.com. The full process, including what is removed and what we are required to keep, is described on our Account and Data Deletion page. Deletion is processed per our Privacy Policy: your personal data is anonymised within 30 days, your manual entries are deleted, and your username becomes available for someone else to claim. Verified event registrations stay with the relevant organizers, who are the controllers of that data.

If you have purchased coaching content or have an upcoming trackday booking, deletion does not automatically refund you. Contact the seller (instructor or organizer) for refunds before deleting.

10.2 We can suspend or terminate

We can suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You materially breach these Terms, for example by fraud, harassment, fake entries, infringement, abuse
  • We are required to do so by law, by a court order, or by a binding regulatory request
  • Continued operation of your account would expose Lapvio to legal risk

For most breaches we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the issue. For serious or repeat breaches, fraud, objectionable content or abuse of other users (Section 9.1), or anything illegal, we may suspend immediately and investigate. We will tell you what we found and give you a chance to respond before terminating, unless the law or a court order prevents us.

If your account is terminated for breach, you forfeit:

  • The username (it returns to the pool)
  • The ability to create a new account using the same email, until we are satisfied the breach has been addressed
  • Access to any coaching content you had purchased; refunds in this case are at our discretion and depend on the breach

10.3 Effect of termination

After termination:

  • Your obligations under these Terms that should reasonably survive (intellectual property, liability, dispute resolution) continue to apply
  • Verified event registrations remain with the organizers as controllers of that data
  • Lapvio keeps records as described in the Privacy Policy retention table for as long as the law requires

11. Intellectual property: Lapvio's

The Lapvio platform (the software, the design, the brand name, the logos, the marketing copy on lapvio.com, the canonical track database, the achievement system, the documentation) is the intellectual property of Amahi s.r.o. or our licensors.

These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Lapvio service for its intended purpose. They do not grant you any other rights.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the platform
  • Distribute, sublicense, lease, or sell access to the platform
  • Use Lapvio's brand, logos, or design language outside the platform without written permission
  • Use Lapvio's content (track data, achievement art, copy) in ways that suggest endorsement or affiliation we have not granted

The canonical track database, including the circuit facts and the track outline graphics, is a database within the meaning of Directive 96/9/EC and is protected by the sui generis database right of Amahi s.r.o. as its maker. You may not extract or re-utilise the whole or a substantial part of its contents, or repeatedly and systematically extract insubstantial parts, without our written permission. This applies to every means of access: the website, the public API, and automated tools or AI agents acting on your behalf. Using the catalog to discover and book trackdays is what it is for; harvesting it to build a competing dataset is not allowed.

Sharing your own profile, your own map PNG, screenshots of your own trackday history, and similar personal sharing is fine and encouraged. The same goes for sharing your own posts and content to third-party platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp, and similar) through the app's share features. What happens to content on those platforms is governed by their terms, not these.

12. Liability

Czech and EU consumer law sets the minimum standard for our liability to you. Nothing in these Terms reduces those rights.

Beyond what the law requires:

  • We provide the Lapvio service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every feature will work in every browser at every moment
  • We don't guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content, including manual trackday entries by other drivers, organizer event listings, instructor biographies, or coaching content
  • We are not liable for the underlying services sold through the platform: the trackday, the coaching session, the coaching content. See Section 7
  • To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you under these Terms in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Amahi for platform fees in that period or (b) €100

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under Czech law, including liability for intentional or grossly negligent harm, liability for damage to health or life, liability for failure to comply with statutory consumer protection rules, and any other liability that is mandatory.

13. The mobile app and app stores

The Lapvio service is available through lapvio.com and through the Lapvio mobile app, distributed on Google Play and, when available, on the Apple App Store.

When you install the app from an app store, that store's own terms also apply to your use of the app. The store operator (Google, Apple, or another distributor) is not a party to these Terms: your contract for the Lapvio service is with Amahi s.r.o. alone, and the store operator has no obligation to you regarding the Service, including its content, maintenance, or support. To the extent the store's terms require it, the store operator and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you; nothing else in these Terms creates rights for anyone other than you and us.

The app may receive updates automatically, including over-the-air updates to its content and features, subject to your device and store settings. We recommend keeping the app up to date; older versions may stop working when the underlying service changes.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms when the service changes, the law changes, or our partners change. The "version" and "last updated" fields at the top of this document tell you which version applies.

For minor changes (typo fixes, clarifications that don't change your rights or obligations) we update the page in place.

For material changes (anything affecting your rights, costs, refunds, content licence, or termination) we will:

  • Email you at the address linked to your account at least 30 days before the change takes effect
  • Show an in-app notice on your next sign-in
  • Where the law requires, ask you to re-accept the new Terms before continuing to use the service

You can always close your account if you don't agree with a change. Anything you've already paid for stays under the Terms that applied when you paid.

15. Governing law, disputes, and ADR

15.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you live in another EU member state, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country still apply where they give you better rights; Czech law fills in the rest.

15.2 Where disputes are decided

Disputes are decided by the competent courts of the Czech Republic. As a consumer, you can also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence and we can sue you only in the courts of your country of residence; these EU consumer-protection rules apply automatically and we acknowledge them here.

15.3 Out-of-court resolution

Before going to court, please contact us at info@lapvio.com. We try to resolve issues directly and quickly.

If we can't agree, you have the right to out-of-court resolution. The competent body in the Czech Republic is:

Česká obchodní inspekce (Czech Trade Inspection Authority)
Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Praha 2
coi.cz · adr.coi.cz

You can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We will respond to any ADR proposal we receive through ČOI or the ODR platform.

15.4 Privacy complaints

For complaints about how we handle your personal data, you can contact:

Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (ÚOOÚ)
Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7
uoou.cz

You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country of residence.

16. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Amahi s.r.o. about the Lapvio service.

Severability. If any part of these Terms is held to be unenforceable by a court, the rest stays in force, and the unenforceable part is interpreted in the closest enforceable way to its original meaning.

No waiver. If we don't enforce a provision in a specific situation, that doesn't mean we waive it for the future.

Assignment. You can't transfer your account or your rights under these Terms to anyone else. We can transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to a successor entity in connection with a sale, merger, or restructuring; your rights stay the same.

Force majeure. Neither side is liable for failure to perform caused by events outside reasonable control: natural disasters, war, pandemics, internet infrastructure failures, government action.

Language. These Terms are published in English, Czech, and German. The Czech version is the legally binding one in case of any discrepancy.

Contact. For anything to do with these Terms: info@lapvio.com. For privacy: privacy@lapvio.com.
