The Silesia Ring is a Polish racing circuit in the village of Kamień Śląski in the Opole Voivodeship, 30 km from Opole and just 8 km from the A4 motorway, about 80 km east of Katowice and 120 km south of Wrocław. The track was opened in 2016 on the partial site of a former military airfield that had previously hosted the Polish Formula 3 Championship (1996–2004) on a temporary track laid out on the runway. The main circuit measures 3,636 m and has 15 corners (9 right, 6 left). The starting straight is 560 m long and 15 m wide; at its narrowest the track is 12 m wide. The longest straight is 730 m. The track runs clockwise and is equipped with energy-absorbing barriers, gravel run-off zones and modern linear drainage allowing operation in the rain. Timing is provided by MyLaps / TagHeuer. The Silesia Ring is the second-longest racing circuit in Poland (after Tor Poznań) and the newest. It offers 7 different configurations, allowing two events to take place simultaneously. It hosts national championships, track days, corporate events and corporate driver training.
