Autodrome Internazionale del Mugello

Mugello Circuit, officially Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, is an Italian racing circuit near the town of Scarperia e San Piero in the Province of Florence in Tuscany, about 30 km north of Florence. The track was opened in 1974 as the successor to the historic 66 km road circuit which had been raced in the area since 1914. In 1988 it was bought by Scuderia Ferrari, which has owned it ever since and uses it for F1 testing. The 5,245 m track has 15 corners (9 right, 6 left), is 9.6–14 m wide and features 41.19 m of elevation change. The main straight is 1,141 m long. The circuit holds FIA Grade 1 homologation and hosts the Italian motorcycle Grand Prix annually. It also hosted its only F1 race in 2020 — the Tuscan Grand Prix, run during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was also Scuderia Ferrari's 1,000th F1 race. In 2021 it was named the most sustainable racing circuit in the world (Enovation Consulting and Right Hub report) and holds the FIA 3-star environmental accreditation.
