About the circuit
Anneau du Rhin is a French racing circuit near the village of Biltzheim in the Haut-Rhin department of the Grand Est region, about 35 km north of Mulhouse and close to the German border. The track was designed and built in 1996 by Marc Rinaldi on the site of a former hunting estate and is now run by his son François Rinaldi. The original 2.919 km circuit was extended in 2004 with a western loop; in August 2011 the track was fully resurfaced and widened by one metre. The current "Compétition" configuration measures 3,700 m and has 17 corners, with variable width and 15 m of elevation change. The track offers several configurations — from the short 1.1 km training loop to the 4 km "Loisir" layout. It holds FIA Grade 3R homologation, with a 100 dB noise limit. It hosted a 2022 round of WTCR (Race of Alsace Grand Est) and Fun Cup. The circuit is used primarily for track days, racing schools, club racing and testing.
Privately-owned by the Rinaldi family with highly versatile configurations (1.1–4 km), strategically located close to the French-German border; following the extensions, the main straight is over 1 km long.
