If you sell tickets through Lapvio, the money runs through your Stripe account. Lapvio takes a service fee, the rest is yours. Everything to do with money setup lives under Settings → Payments.
Connect Stripe
- Open Payments and start the Stripe connection.
- Stripe walks you through verifying your business and adding a bank account.
- When you're done, you're returned to Lapvio and can take payments.

Charges before payouts
Stripe can enable charges (you can take payments) before payouts (money reaching your bank) finish verifying. If you see payouts still pending, you can already sell. Stripe just needs another step before it pays out.
Tax
Whether you charge VAT is set on the Organisation page (Financials tab): VAT payers enter net prices and drivers pay your home VAT rate on top at checkout. Stripe Tax is an upgrade to how that VAT is computed. Turn it on and Stripe calculates the exact rate per buyer country, validates VAT IDs and issues tax invoices. Your current VAT status is shown on the VAT row of the Stripe card, with a link to change it.
Prices are stored net
For VAT payers, ticket prices are held net; tax is added on top at checkout. Every price field shows the gross a driver pays, so set your base prices accordingly.
Cancellation policy
Set a default cancellation policy that applies to your events. Refund tiers based on how far ahead a driver cancels (e.g. full refund up to 14 days, 50% up to 7 days, none after). You can override it per event when one needs different terms. As you edit, a What drivers see panel shows the exact ladder a driver reads on your event page before booking.

Once Stripe is connected, you're ready to price and sell tickets when you build an event.
