Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is a Spanish racing circuit in the town of Montmeló in Catalonia, about 20 km north-east of Barcelona. The track was built in 1991 and the first races were held on 10 September 1991 in the Spanish Touring Car Championship; two weeks later the circuit hosted the Spanish F1 Grand Prix, which it has hosted every year since. The current "Grand Prix" configuration with chicane measures 4,675 m and has 16 corners (the no-chicane version is 4,657 m with 14 corners). The track is 12–15 m wide with 32 m of elevation change and a longest straight of about 1,047 m. The circuit holds FIA Grade 1 homologation and hosts the F1 Spanish Grand Prix, the MotoGP Catalan Grand Prix, GT World Challenge Europe, the ELMS, FIA WRX and other series. For many years it was a key F1 pre-season testing destination. From 1991 to 2013 the circuit was known only as the "Circuit de Catalunya"; the "Barcelona" prefix was added in 2013 under a sponsorship deal with the City of Barcelona. In 2021 the circuit received the FIA 3-star environmental accreditation.

Traditional home of the F1 Spanish Grand Prix (since 1991) and the MotoGP Catalan Grand Prix; the primary F1 pre-season testing destination from 1991 to 2008; from 2026 it will be replaced on the F1 calendar by the new Madring street circuit in Madrid.
